ATTENTION GUAM FARMERS AND PRODUCERS OF COMMERCIAL AGRICULTURE COMMODITIES

The Farmers Cooperative Association of Guam, Inc. is conducting a Membership Drive pursuant to the FCAG By-Laws, Articles of Inc. and 18 GCA Ch. 13. The Membership Drive ends on July 25, 2014. We encourage all qualified commercial producers/farmers to complete a new membership package to ensure that you are eligible to place your vote on matters related to the FCAG including the installation of a valid Board of Directors. Membership packets are available at the Director’s Office, Dept. of Agriculture and must be turned into Mr. John Borja no later than COB on July 25, 2014.

Membership requirements:
1. Current Bona fide Farmer certification issued at Dept. of Agriculture.
2. Purchase of FCAG Membership Certificate @ $100.00.  [Only Certified, Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders payable to Farmers Cooperative Association of Guam, Inc. will be accepted. (No cash accepted.)] 3. Sign a Marketing Agreement Contract with FCAG.
4. Qualify as a “Producer” under 18 GCA Ch. 13.

The Membership Drive is necessary to establish a valid Membership Roster for the upcoming Membership Meeting to be held on August 9, 2014 from 9:00-12:00 at the Hagatna Mayor’s Office. An election for the Board of Directors will be conducted and only qualified members are eligible to vote at this meeting.
